Scholarships

 GENERAL INFORMATION
Ilitch Charities for Children (ICC) was established by the Ilitch family to improve the lives of children in the areas of health, education and recreation. ICC launched the hockey scholarship program in the spring of 2002 in support of the youth participants in the Little Caesars AAA hockey program, that the Ilitches and their companies have been associated with for 27 years.

The Little Caesars AAA Hockey Scholarship is awarded each spring to two student athletes (one male and one female) from the Little Caesars AAA hockey program for this $5,000 scholarship towards college tuition.

APPLICATION CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Current Little Caesars AAA hockey player in good standing.
2. Must have received, or will receive, a high school diploma.
3. Current minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Have been accepted to and plan to enroll in a college or university within the next two (2) years.

NOTIFICATION
Final selection will be made by the Board of Directors of Ilitch Charities for Children and announced in June. All applicants will receive notification by mail. Recipients will be publicly announced with a press release, in Hockey Weekly, in Michigan Hockey and any other media source that ICC deems appropriate. All selections are final. All applications and attachments become the property of Ilitch Charities for Children.
